FRIDAY THE 13TH

Happy Friday the 13th all! Haven't updated you all in awhile so here's one:

Hexis/Redwood Hill split is OUT NOW and available in the store. There are some other labels around who have some so check around too.

I have limited copies of the Adobe Homes record left including 1 or 2 black copies which were super limited.

The distro has been getting pdated more frequently which is sweet and I'll be getting in some awesome stuff from Halo Of Flies and Deadtank Records real soon. Possibly more!

Fucked In Public has started up again so we may see that release yet.

I've been working on setting up some new stuff. More info as I know it.

I want to thank everyone for their support over this past year. 2013 has been pretty big for me! If you don't like us on facebook go hit that like button. I at least want to get to 100. Please!

RELEASE INFO!

I'm a little late on announcing the new release on here but if you follow BHR on facebook you would have seen that we, along with 7 other incredible labels from all over, will be releasing a split 7" picture disc featuring HEXIS and REDWOOD HILL!

 

The record will be released on 11/11/13 and is pressed to 500 copies. Pre-orders will go up later today... I think. Or tomorrow. 

 Check out all the other labels involved too! An exclusive stream of the album can be heard at Terrorizer and make sure to also watch the music video for Hexis's "Tenebris"  there too. You can find it on youtube and on Vimeo now as well.

I will post something new when the pre-orders go up.

SOME NEWS

A big release is on the way. Myself along with some other awesome labels are keeping it on the hush-hush right now but not for much longer.

Slap Handz has basically called it quits. Overall the band was unhappy with their recordings and couldn't find time to practice or play so we have decided to cancel the demo release. Everything else, as far as we know, will happen... eventually.

STORE UPDATE: BALUGA/SQUID "SAMPLER" SPLIT CS OUT NOW! + DISTRO ITEMS

THE SPLIT CS BETWEEN BALUGA AND SQUID IS OUT NOW. THE STORE HAS ALSO BEEN UPDATED WITH NEW DISTRO ITEMS!

Baluga and Squid feature the same two members playing different instruments and different styles of music.
Baluga is really fun surf-punk influenced jams while Squid is grungy garage punk. Both bands are really fun and make this release a must have.

This release features white tapes with unique labels in clear cases with cardstock insert plus extras.

LINEUP CHANGES

There is a few changes going on to the releases.

FIRST: GVNT has thrown out that name and is now a tentatively untitled project. Songs are being put together and more info will come when the tape is ready.

SECOND: The Baluga ep has been pushed back and in it's place will be a split tape between them and a new project featuring the same members playing different instruments called Squid. This tape will be a single/sampler release featuring tracks that will be featured on their future individual full length recordings.

THIRD: The Slap Handz tape is on hold for the moment due to unforeseen circumstances. More on this in the next week or so.

An update including the split between Baluga and Squid, the "GVNT" project tape, possibly the Slap Handz tape, plus sweet distro stuff will happen next month if everything goes well.

UPDATES

Slap Handz artwork is complete and the songs have been mastered by the legendary Will Killingsworth at Dead Air. Production on the tapes will start in a few weeks or as soon as I get everything situated. I will be posting a song to the soundcloud page later tonight or tomorrow and the album will be available to stream on bandcamp sometime before it is released.
The band is working on setting up a release show by the end of the month in NH. More details on this as I get them.

Ezkathon "The Cvrsed Idols" cs is out and there are still plenty of copies available from me and if you are in europe I would get in contact with him. There are a few copies left of the Whorls demo and the split between DeadMoths and Good Fucking Luck. I have a good amount of copies of everything else.

I am going to try to distro some stuff out to other labels in order to make the releases more available to people.

SOME NEWS

Slap Hands is now Slap Handz, with a Z. They are recording for the demo cs now which should be out early this summer.

The Ezkathon cs is almost done. This will be out mid-June.

I still have a handful of Whorls and DeadMoths/Good Fucking Luck split tapes in the store as well as a few Black Adobe Homes records and 1 White Hexis record.

Things should be picking up around here soon!

We are pleased to announce we will be releasing the first release from NH's Slap Handz. These dudes play really awesome, posi, indie, pop, punk jams. Real fun stuff! They will be recording soon.
