LATE DECEMBER NEWS

Lots of big things going on!

Et Tu Brute "Discography" cs has NEW artwork! Tapes will be out early 2015. I was unhappy with the art so I re-did it and it took longer than I wanted. I'm happy now, and the band is happy. Tapes for real! Early January. Sweet B-side too!

I am awaiting confirmation from Movion and art and then that tape will go into production.

Nod Nod just released their album on vinyl and have been busy with that. I just got an email yesterday regarding the tape. Artwork is being worked. Bookhouse is co-releasing this with NAAB (peep our friends list). I just need art and some fine tuning and this will go into production.

I'm hoping the previous three tapes will be out in January. February the latest!

Now some new stuff!

I am so happy to officially announce Bookhouse will be helping in the release of a full length LP by french instrumental rockers, Grand Detour! Their ep 12" was on constant repeat on my turntable and in the car. I am so stoked on this one!

Next, we will be co-releasing with a slew of awesome labels, the newest LP from Viva Belgrado! This band was sprung upon me and I am so grateful! I checked my email one day and there they were! This band is really fucking incredible! The album is a beast too! Check it on our bandcamp!

The next two are both Russian monsters!

First,

We are co-releasing the first full length from  Причал (Berths). Screamo punk featuring members of Euglena (my man Sanya) and Reka. This is a monster record!

and Second

we are co-releasing a 12" with some rad labels including Grains of Sand, the newest record from Колчак (Kolchak). This band slays! Really awesome instrumental jams. It's like blackened hardcore / punk / instrumentals! So good!

2015 is going to be a big year!

TWIN PEAKS

The label turned 3 last month. Thanks for all the support!
I want to do some sort of something to celebrate. Probably a sale of some sort. I'll figure it out.

But...
As you can probably see by the name of the label, I love Twin Peaks. It was recently announced that Lynch and Frost are rebooting the show for 9 new episodes in 2016 on Showtime that take place 25 years after the last episode. If you watch the show you'll pick up on the significance. Well being a huge fan of the show and basing a lot of the "image" of the label on Twin Peaks, I want to do a compilation of some sort inspired by the show. I don't know how particularly. Not sure if it should be musically/lyrically inspired, or what, but I want to do it! The show won't air until sometime in 2016 so I have a lot of time to think, but I wanted to throw it out there to get ideas from people and to see if there are any bands out there who would like to be a part of this. I think it could be fun. There's a lot of things we could do with the idea. I would try to release it coinciding with the premiere of the show. Maybe on vinyl too!!!! (Go buy some records/tapes).

So yeah, there's that.

Founded in 2011 WHORLS (with members of Putrifier) play a modern (or „post“) style of black metal and atmospheric darkend hardcore with chaotic and sludgy outbursts. They released a very well received demo in 2012 and an evenly great reviewed 7“ called „Lvmen Natvrae“ in 2013. Now these four guys from the city of Slagelse attack again with their aggressive and dissonant mixture of Black Metal and Hardcore. We added a video tab to the website which will have, well, videos of bands we've released stuff for. I will try to add to it regularly but, well, you know.

Some updates:

Whorls LP is scheduled for September.
Eeva LP will hopefully get here before they leave for tour (Help them if you can).
We are sending out the order for both the Et Tu Brute discog tape and the Tutti I Colori Del Buio tape.
Movion is finishing up some tracks. I head a new one the other day and this tape will be amazing.
We are working out the details for the Nod Nod tape which we will be releasing with the Czech label NAAB (http://naab.cz/releases/).

Nod Nod is a rad female-fronted noise-rock/grunge/strange band. These dudes are so good! I get this awesome Off Minor vibe from them. They play techy screamo with awesome vox and these sweet off time parts!

There are 3 different tape bundles and a Hexis vinyl bundle.

The Hexis bundle includes the split 7" pic disc w/Redwood Hill and the Self-titled 12" record

These two tapes compliment eachother really well. This is a nice bundle to chill out with and have fun. Nice for that upcoming warm weather.

These two tapes like the first bundle go really well together. Both bands play progressive style music. EAT is all improv and CAI is all balls to the wall.

BHR012 EAT "Stop Thinking" cs

This is EAT's second effort.
"Stop Thinking" is 2 new improvised songs.
The band picks up where the last release left off with an array of instruments, change-ups, and intensity.
Photocopied inserts and black tapes.


BHR014 BLACKHATCLUB "5 Songs" cs

 This is BLACKHATCLUB's best material to date. This project started back in 2008. Songs have ranged from harsh noise to ambient experimental and acoustic tracks. Very minimalist. Each of his releases has been different and unique.
These songs were taken from a split CD-R that never got released properly. We are excited to put these songs to tape.
Each tape will come with a previously self-released CD-R called "Somewhere Between New And Lost" until they are all gone.

NEW RELEASES

Stoked to announce we will be releasing a split LP between Oaken and Marnost with a bunch of other awesome labels from all over!

Oaken are from Budapest Hungary and play experimental hardcore while Marnost are from Czech Republic and play noisy black metal. Both bands are really amazing!

This release is still in the early stages so I will post more once I know it.

WHAT'S COMING UP?

Fucked In Public are writing and recording for a 10 song ep cassette.
EAT has recorded 2 new songs for a cassette release in the near future.

I have talked to a few different bands and labels about some upcoming projects and I'm very excited for what 2014 will bring.
